Dog Training Fundamentals – An Enthusiast’s Guide
This is a 10-week program that introduces dog enthusiasts to fundamental dog training techniques and care, and exposes them to a variety of hobby opportunities.  Students will learn about a dog’s sensory, learning, and communication abilities, how to identify and use training equipment, how to identify breeds, how to prepare for puppy ownership and training, the prevention or solutions for dealing with a variety of behavioral problems, basic pet care and grooming, and receive an overview of sports, work, and assistive therapy work for canines.  Graduates will have acquired the knowledge and ability to apply principles and techniques to basic training solutions through their understanding of how a dog learns and communicates. Upon completion of this program, graduates will receive the Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to enroll in our advanced program, Pet Obedience: Theory and Application of Canine Behavior.

How to afford the investment in you!
"I graduated in 2002 from Triple Crown's Canine Behavior and Training Specialist Program. Since then, I have had a very successful business in private obedience training in clients' homes. I can't say enough about Rob, Jessy, and the staff at Triple Crown! Their knowledge and experience as our instructors were invaluable. They have had so many years of direct, hands-on experience in virtually every area of training, not to mention their vast knowledge and understanding of canine behavior."
